～だけに: "Given that/Since/Even more X"

I won't lie, this lesson's point can be a bit tricky. But that's just because no one really takes the time to get to know them. They're actually really nice! And cool. And laid-back.

  Example:
  → この辺へんは大学だいがくが近ちかいだけに、学生がくせいが多おおい。
  "Since there's a university nearby, it makes sense that there are a lot of students.”
